Welcome to Five Points Ferret Refuge
Five Points Ferret Refuge has been dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming ferrets in the Indianapolis area since 2009. What started as a simple search for a few personal pets quickly turned into a mission when we discovered just how many ferrets were in need of safe, loving homes. With no local rescue available, we opened our hearts and doors to these incredible animals. It wasn’t long before our veterinarian recognized our efforts and encouraged us to make it official—though, in truth, we had already begun.
As word spread, more ferrets arrived, each with their own story of hardship. We soon realized that while we couldn’t keep them all, we could ensure they found the loving, forever homes they deserved. Today, our mission remains the same: to provide ferrets with proper medical care, socialization, and the second chance they deserve. Every ferret that comes through our doors is more than just a rescue—they’re family, even as they move on to their new homes.
At Five Points Ferret Refuge, we are committed to educating the community, advocating for responsible ferret ownership, and ensuring every fuzzy finds a place where they are cherished.
